Events Hosted
Between early September and October 23rd, we hosted eight events focused on growing Optimism. This includes seven Eden Fractal meetings and the first Optimism Fractal meeting. You can click the prior links to learn more about each of these innovative events and how they both provide profound benefits for the Optimism Collective.
Each Eden Fractal events typically lasts for about 2.5 hours and about half of total meeting time since the beginning of September has been focused on Optimism. Prior to the events that we hosted in September, we also proposed Optimism as a topic of discussion, shared our work with Optimism, and briefly featured the Optimism Collective at three weekly Eden Fractal meetings in August. Optimism Fractal is entirely focused on growing Optimism and the meetings each last approximately one hour. In addition to hosting events focused on Optimism, we also raised awareness of the Optimism Collective amongst Web3 leaders in several other events where we co-hosted or played a large role, including Alien Worlds Fractal and Aquadac.
There are two ways that you can verify these events and gain a better understanding of how they have positively impacted the Optimism Collective:
- You can watch the videos from each of the eight events that we hosted on our videos page or youtube channel. All of our meetings are recorded, produced, and publicly available on Youtube. We make comprehensive show notes about discussions related to Optimism each meeting, which you can find in our blog, EdenFractal.com/videos, OptimismFractal.com/videos. You can also watch our Optimism focused meetings in this youtube playlist.
- You can see the onchain data posted by participants in each Eden Fractal meetings here and onchain posts for Optimism Fractal meeting here. Onchain data is generally only posted by players of the Respect Game each week and participants sometimes only join for other parts of our meetings, so not all participants post data onchain every week and it may be helpful to verify this along with the video to gain a better understanding of participation.
We now host Optimism Fractal weekly meetings every Monday at 17 UTC and Eden Fractal meetings every Wednesday at 16 UTC. Everyone is welcome to join these events and earn respect by helping the Optimism Collective. Please see OptimismFractal.com and EdenFractal.com for more details.
Attendance, Participation, and Engagement
The unique design of fractal meetings provide an unprecedented level of participation and engagement for everyone who joins the events. People who join these meetings are usually fully immersed with focused attention on the meeting for the entirety of the event. The respect
